Del McGill, a third generation farmer, has 30+ years of agriculture operation experience. He received his two-year Farm Mechanics degree from Lane Community College and can operate and maintain a wide variety of farm equipment. He became the third largest pumpkin grower in the state of Oregon coordinating labor crews and truck delivery to over 40 stores in the Mid-Willamette Valley. His high standards in quality and customer service allowed him to excel in the fiercely competitive fresh produce market.

Del has 6+ years experience in underground construction where he operated loaders, excavators, grinders, etc., putting together subdivisions and waste treatment plants. In the evenings he studied to obtain his securities Series 6, 63 and 26 principal, insurance, and mortgage broker licenses and became a Regional Manager for a financial services company. He established himself as a top producer, trainer, and motivational speaker.

In 1995, Del became the Fifth District Field Director for a U.S. Congressman, dealing with agriculture issues such as the devastating Tillamook county flooding. By the end of his tenure, he was promoted to the acting Chief of Staff. In 1998, Del joined forces with his current business partner, Russ Davis, at Oregon Bark. With product development and marketing success, sales grew to $1 million dollars. In 2001, Organix, Inc. was launched, becoming a nationally recognized leader in waste stream management, on-site development / operation, product specific marketing and public relations support.

The waste management success of the Large Threemile Canyon Farm and Dairy operation in Boardman, Oregon with its 80,000 cows and 2,000 tons of waste a day, can largely be attributed to the on-site efforts of Del McGill. Del is a member of Oregon Farm Bureau and has served as President on the Oregon state and Marion county Young Farmer and Rancher committees. He represented Oregon in the National YF& R Farm Bureau Discussion Meet. He is currently a member of The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality Compost Site Regulations Work Group representing ORGANIX, Inc. and Three Mile Canyon Farms.
